Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucky is proud to announce The M&L Electrical Race for JA. The event takes place Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park from 7am to 12pm CT. The registration table opens at 7:00am. Racers must be on site and registered by 7:30 am. Enjoy racing go karts and enjoy this competitive and high-energy event. Participants will receive an event T-shirt, lunch ticket, and heat race go-kart experience.
Corporations and members of the public are encouraged to participate. Race for JA offers three race categories: Teams of four adults, individual adults and individual teenagers can participate. Teams must consist of four adults ages 18 and older AND at least 60 inches tall. Individual adults ages 18 and older AND at least 60 inches tall may race. Teenagers ages 14 -17 can join the fun, but must be at least 14 years old AND at least 60 inches tall to race. A guardian MUST be present during the race for children to participate, and they must sign a participation waiver.
This event will be held rain or shine. However, the threat of tornadoes, flooding or lightning will postpone the event. NCM Motorsports Park will make that decision. In the event of inclement weather that results in event cancellation, the rain date is June 10, 2023. Cup trophies will be given for the top winners of races in a heat structure format. Closed toe shoes are absolutely required for participants. If you wear open toe shoes you will NOT be allowed to race. No exceptions. No walk up participants the day of the event will be accepted. No exceptions. Registration ends May 27, 2023.
